Our potted Camassia Bulbs are now available to purchase. All our 2 litre pots have 3 bulbs each in them and are grown in peat-free compost. Quamash varieties are grown in peat-free compost in 9cm pots – 3 bulbs to a pot.
If you’re new to growing Camassia or you want to increase the different varieties you already have you’ll be sure to find some here to delight & tempt you. Camassia can be grown in full sun but we prefer to grow them in transient or dappled shade simply because the firework display of their starry-like blooms will last a little longer – full sun tends to put an end to the blooms way too quickly for our liking!
Camassia are hardy bulbous perennials & are best planted in reliably moist soil.
Oh, and slugs & snails don’t touch Camassia either! What’s not to love!
