Striking perennial with star-shaped bright vibrant pink flower spires opening from the bottom upwards June-August above fresh green foliage. Deadhead spent flower heads to encourage new shoots. Full sun or light shade best with moist but well-drained soil. Dislikes winter wet. A favourite of ours for cutting.
