Long-flowering compact hardy herbaceous perennial with aromatic grey-green foliage & purple stems with violet-blue flowers June to October. A favourite of ours with any of our Sidalcea in our gardens & used extensively in our designs at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival & RHS Tatton Park Flower Show.
Excellent cut flower too!
In our experience, when we were based in North Yorkshire, ‘Caradonna’ was the hardiest of Salvia.
Fragrant. Adored by bees & butterflies!
Full sun/part shade & moist well drained soil.
